Her work through the NextGen Accessibility Initiative has helped over 61,000 students across 119 countries have access to accessible digital content. We discuss how Zandy’s experience as someone with hearing loss fuels her advocacy, the importance of policy in achieving greater accessibility for the disabled community, and how initiatives/nonprofits can take steps to become more accessible.
