It didn't feel shortly then, but now looking back, it does, but the world shut down because of covid-19. In five different places in those seven years. We, we worshiped in a chapel at the hospital. Amen. So, here we are. It's the fourth Sunday of Easter. It's, uh. Good Shepherd Sunday, right? So, it's kind of interesting to me, uh, we Good Shepherd Sunday. We've been like talking about. We've been looking at post-resurrection appearances of Jesus, right? Really? Since Easter, so. Talked about doubting Thomas and the story of Jesus with Thomas. We talked, so we've been since then, looking at Jesus, um, after his resurrection, um, prior to his Ascension. And then, we like, rewind. Fourth Sunday, and we look at. Good Shepherd. His sermon about being the Good Shepherd, and I think it's instructive for us. Um, this is something that the whole Western Church does. The Roman Church celebrates Good Shepherd Sunday today as well. It's a reminder that the one who rose from the dead. Rose to Shepherd us. Rose to be our Shepherd, and we have a Shepherd who's living and alive. Because Jesus rose from the dead. So, we... Amen. So, we continue walking through Easter tide. By looking at various appearances of the Lord Jesus after he rose from the dead, right? Did you notice that today we actually saw two? We actually got two looks at the resurrected Lord Christ, right? We, both of them, were given to us by Saint John. We looked at him before his Ascension. In that second Miracle right of Jesus. Multiplying the fish after for a big catch, right? We can get a whole lot of insight from that pass. I'm not spending a ton of time in that. Well, we have Jesus eating with his disciples after he's risen from the dead, showing us that he's still out of physical body. Physical body's good, he's eating, right? The second vision of the resurrected Jesus we see is in the Book of Revelation. We read it first, but it's it was written later, also given to us by Saint John, right? So, we're going to rewind it a little bit, and this hailing of Jesus is King and Lord. But now, we're like a little bit. After that, he's come in, and his first stop in Luke is the temple, right? So, after he comes in the first place, he goes got that. The Gospel of Luke sends Jesus. Um, remember that the things don't happen. Like, directly in order. I hope that I'll be motivated enough to finish it, but we have finished peralandra, which is the second book in the series. In the book, the main character Ransom. Is put in contact with, like a pre-fallen planet, so a planet that hasn't rebelled against God yet, right? And Weston, who's another character in the book is motivated by greed and anger and hatred, and he gives in to these vices in significant ways and becomes overtaken. Even like, demonized is what it would look like, right? And I was really impacted by the description of this that this innocent woman on this planet, a woman I like, alien.
