//podcastplus.net/feed/rotator-the-pedal-party~b8e854d3 Cogan Higgins and Chance Gibbs have started (at least what appears to be) the first guitar/bass pedal demo podcast. Every week, we will try something new, live on air and find reasons to (or not to) have that pedal on your board. We give everything a fair shake and recognize nothing as sacred to the pedal community. In short: we're gear heads, and we hope you are too. Rock on, y'all. I wanted to give everyone a heads up that on April 1, 2021, this show will be closed because it did not make sense for me to keep paying for hosting every month. Be sure to download any episodes you want to listen to. Or, you can just go listen on YouTube. Thanks and goodbye forever. Well, except for Youtube. Peace.   Mon, 01 Mar 2021 17:37:44 +0000 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/ttsMP3.com_VoiceText_2021-3-1_11_35_49.mp3?dest-id=472196 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/Traitor.m4a?dest-id=472196 please Wed, 31 Oct 2018 22:11:18 +0000 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/Traitor.m4a?dest-id=472196 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/S01E31_Farewell.mp3?dest-id=472196 Welcome to the beginning of the end. This episode we take a stroll down memory lane and talk about some of our favorite Rotator: The Pedal Party moments with a special guest appearance from our good friend The *****.  We talk guitars, amps, pedals and finally reveal our own pedalboards! Thanks for everything. This community has been amazing, and we couldn't have done it without you. See you all soon... What gear did you always hope to find under the tree? Wed, 03 Jan 2018 20:44:48 +0000 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/S01E30_CHRISTMAS_2017_SPECIAL.mp3?dest-id=472196 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/S01E29_Strymon_DIG_feat._DMB_Stellar_Drive.mp3?dest-id=472196 Sometimes you get in the mood for delay pedals, and you just have to get your hands on one. We did just that for this week's episode. We get down and dirty with the Strymon DIG. It's got two separate delay engines, and it's pink! The illusive DMB Stellar Drive makes an appearance as well.  Tue, 05 Dec 2017 21:11:58 +0000 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/S01E29_Strymon_DIG_feat._DMB_Stellar_Drive.mp3?dest-id=472196 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/S01E28_Keeley_Caverns.mp3?dest-id=472196 Are you ready to wobble? I never thought I'd want a delay or reverb pedal that had built-in wiggle, but the Caverns V2 actually does it on both—and incredibly well, I might add. Come on now! Listen to this week's episode to find out. We can't tell what kind of pedal it is, but we know it sounds good.  Tue, 21 Nov 2017 23:10:46 +0000 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/S01E27_LollygaggerFX_Canaglia.mp3?dest-id=472196 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/Lightning_Boy_Audio_Thunder_Knob.mp3?dest-id=472196 This pedal is so serious about tone that it can KILL YOU. One knob, one switch, and only one emoji needed \m/ Thu, 26 Oct 2017 21:38:58 +0000 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/Lightning_Boy_Audio_Thunder_Knob.mp3?dest-id=472196 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/Ep_24_Obsidian_and_Bloodstone.mp3?dest-id=472196 Charlie Paolo makes some pretty gnarly, doomy, boomy, zoomy pedals. This week, we got to try out the Obsidian Fuzz and Bloodstone Overdrive. So much straightforward rawk! Outro music by https://www.bensound.com because I can’t find our OG track! Whoops! Wed, 04 Oct 2017 20:40:05 +0000 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/Ep_24_Obsidian_and_Bloodstone.mp3?dest-id=472196 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/Ep_24_The_Veil.mp3?dest-id=472196 Tone snobs often treat “Tubescreamer” like a bad word, but should that always be the case? This week, we take a look at one high-end TS style pedal and compare it to a budget-friendly version. While they both have their shares of benefits, there is a clear winner in the end…  Also, we tried a few tweaks to the editing process, so let us know what you think of the new sound quality at rotator.party@gmail.com.  Gear used: 2013 Gibson SG ’61 Reissue 1995 Fender Stratocaster Hughes & Kettner Dual EL84 Statesman Shure SM57 Audix i5 Tue, 12 Sep 2017 22:01:34 +0000 https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/rotatorparty/Ep_24_The_Veil.mp3?dest-id=472196
