EP 35: The power of changing your narratives to get results

The power of changing your narratives to get results. Most of what we do is habit. If you do something enough, it becomes automated and a habit. It’s easier to get into the business as usual; life becomes an autopilot, and everything becomes a routine. The problem with habit is. It stays with you, and you do the same thing repeatedly. Sometimes, habits or routines can stand in our way. Regardless of how many days are left in this year, you can still make it memorable by mastering your pattern and changing your narratives about the thing. For more love notes for #wellbeing #mentalhealth #selfawareness #digitalhealth #emotionalwellbeing and #healing connect with Redefining Living: Website: https://redefiningliving.org/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/redefiningliving/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/redefiningliving/

Ep 34: What would your life look like if your life were an art?

What would your life look like if your life were an art? Some weeks ago, an event reminded me of my responsibility and commitment to ensure that my life is not driven by someone else’s expectations or assumptions of how I should live. And that, my friend, is the Redefining Living moment. Listen, I don’t claim to have a formula on how to do that, nor do I claim to have a method. It’s hard because some things we want have never been modelled. How we are nurtured as we grow up, the media we are exposed to, and the world and times we live in profoundly influence what we believe we can achieve for ourselves. And so it will be different for each and every one of us. If the above question has crossed your mind lately or you think you’d benefit from reassessing where you are, let’s dive into today's show. In this episode, I offer three sets of inquiries to help you answer that question from this moment forward so you can create a life that inspires you. For more love notes for #well...

Ep 31: In distress or dissatisfied with where you are? Do this one thing.

One of the societal imprints we've adopted is the belief that life is linear. Go to school, get a job, marry, have kids, buy a house, have another kid, retire and then die. So when your life doesn't fit that box or pattern, you judge yourself and feel like a failure. I can tell you that at a time in my life, I cried countless tears because my life couldn't fit into the norm society laid out for me – even till now. I was divorced, in debt, distressed, disappointed by people, and, of course, I was dissatisfied with life. The more I struggled to keep the pieces together, the more they kept falling apart. But now I'm evolving. From my appearance to how I do what I do, I'm a whole different woman. If you are in distress, depressed or dissatisfied with where you are in life, I'll like to share some wisdom nuggets you can use to bring all the complexities in your life together to create a beautiful picture you never could have imagined. **** For more love notes for #wellbeing #mentalhealth #s...

Can I tell you something? There is a version of you that you still need to meet. I am not recording this episode because I’ve figured it out perfectly. The truth is, I have many moments where it feels easier to go through them with my heart closed and afraid. And the fact is, I’m afraid, but I tell myself that I’m going to dare to trust anyway. I’ve got baggage, but I will set my standards high regardless. My heart is broken, but I will dare to love again. I will show up in my life with my broken pieces because I believe that if I continue to open my heart to love…there lies the miracle I’ve been waiting for all along. Are you ready to open your heart to love again? I share four tips to get you started on your journey. Recommended books: Love: The Way to Victory by Kenneth E.
