Hello and welcome to my new podcast, I'm so happy you're here! Two years ago I was diagnosed with endometriosis, which took me down a health spiral that's grown my love for wellness and nutrition SO much. I've learned a lot along the way that I want to share and encourage others with, because we all deserve to live happy, healthy lives! Join me every episode to learn something new and talk about the one thing we can all work on: being proactively healthy!

My Endometriosis Story

I struggled with endometriosis for a decade before I ever learned what it was and got diagnosed. It's so important to spread awareness about this disease, because 1 in 10 U.S. women have it, according to Yale Medicine, but it takes on 10 years on average to a diagnosis. There's no known cure for endometriosis, but there are treatments out there available for women struggling, and I share some of the things that helped me in this episode. Each person is different, but you can't start your healing journey until you know what you're healing. Debilitating pain is NOT normal despite what we're told as women, and I wish I had someone to tell me that earlier in my journey.

Today we're talking healthy foundations, and why going back to the basics is so important. So many times the building blocks of health (sleep, exercise, diet, stress, vitamins and minerals) get ignored or put on the back burner. This episode is a reminder to never neglect those basics that are the foundation your health rests on.
