<description>  It is by faith alone we are justified in His sight. All have sinned and all are deserving of death, but God, in His unimaginable love, died for us while we were still sinners. "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21   Someone will have to pay for our sin in the face of the Holy and righteous God as God cannot look at sin and must judge sin, as He is perfectly just. We cannot pay for sin ourselves as we are transgressors; breaking but one commandment makes us guilty of all. If we stand before God on our own, we will be condemned and will be separated from God eternally. When we trust in the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, His righteousness is imputed on us, and we are washed, and stand righteous before Him. He has paid for every sin.
