<description>Curry Coast Community Radio (KCIW, FM 100.7 in Brookings, OR) is publicly supported nonprofit radio serving the residents of Curry County, Oregon.Curry Coast Community Radio seeks to provide a forum to build a common community consciousness through the free exchange of ideas, news, and opinion. We are building bridges across the community by hosting round-table discussions, call-in talk shows, in-depth interviews with policy makers and community leaders, health professionals and wellness practitioners, service groups and other non-profits, and underserved community members. Featuring local musicians and involving our young people in radio engineering and production will promote an increased sense of community and and help participants develop talents and skills that can be used in the broader marketplace.</description>
