//podcastplus.net/feed/liz-and-miranda-finding-the-forest-through-the-trees~8b4a7a2a A conversation between two friends: one liberal and one conservative - who share a love of teaching, literature, zombie running, conversation, and hiking in the great outdoors. This podcast is about us navigating our journey in a Southern "Red" state and very red county. It is a place for discussing friendships, life experiences, and hot button issues. Join us as we bring some of our hiking conversations to the air waves. Miranda and I talk about how one moment, in particular, resonated with us as women and - simply - as people who desire to have a voice. We affirm that all people deserve that voice. Listen as we have a conversation about how our voices have - at times - been silenced, but also have we have learned to find our place in the conversation.
