Cup of Faith

Cup of Faith is an award-winning Christian blog, podcast and online ministry for Christian women. Our platform is designed to share, inspire and encourage fellow Christian women through blog posts, podcast episodes, community reading plans, product reviews and much more! Our thriving community features women of all ages and walks of life posting daily content that encourages pursuing Christian living in an authentic way.In addition, our platform has grown to include a private Facebook group, Christian podcast, virtual book club, and monthly Bible Study. We also welcome any and all contributors who wish to share their testimony, stories of faith, and advice on Christian living.Inspired by her mornings spent in the sun reading her Bible while sipping on coffee, our Founder and Podcast host, Megan Kelly hoped to use her experience in digital marketing and web design to create an online women’s ministry and Christian blog that aims to connect women from all around the world.Understanding how so many of us struggle to face the church, in fear of being judged or ridiculed for our baggage and not fitting the “cookie-cutter” mould of what a “good Christian” should do, look or act like, Megan wanted to create an online space that is easily accessible, holds no judgement and embraces our sisters in Christ irrespective of the paths we’ve walked, the roads we’ve taken or the journey we find ourselves on.

Overcoming Imposter Syndrome

In this episode, I chat about a big life goal that I have been working towards and how imposter syndrome has been getting the better of me. It's been standing in my way and distracting me from the path that God has prepared for me. I share some ways I have overcome imposter syndrome in the past and reflect on the ways God has helped me navigate this tricky imposter who has me believing I am not experienced enough, successful enough, smart enough, or equipped for the task at hand. Lastly, I share the revelation I have had that has helped me look fear in the eye and whisper back that I CAN, in fact, do it.
Setting Goals

Welcome back to the Cup of Faith podcast. This is officially our first episode of the new year so I thought what better way than to kick it off by sharing my process for setting goals for the new year. Don't worry though, if you find planning for the year ahead to be overwhelming, you can also use these steps to plan for the week ahead or even the day ahead. In this episode, I share the importance of reflecting on the things you're grateful for happening, the things you have achieved and how to go about setting goals followed by an action plan and check-in. I share the importance of prayer and how to deal with plans not always going according to your plan. I have also shared a new Instagram Story template which can be used to share and highlight the things you have achieved this week and the goals you have for the new week. Why not create a highlight on your profile, and save these each week to look back on at the end of the year? Tag me in your stories so I can celebrate your goals and achievements...

God's Perfect Timing

In Romans 1:10-11, Paul writes, "I pray that now at last by God’s will, the way may be opened for me to come to you." Today, I share how frustrating it can be when we feel like our prayers aren't being heard because they're not being answered in OUR time, but that when I take a step back and see how God's timing has been so perfect in other times of my life, I am forced to sit back and trust that He hears my prayers and that He is working on it, but that it will happen in HIS time because His timing is perfect. I also touch on how sometimes we feel like life can be a bit inconvenient, like when we forget our wallet, but just how many times I have realized that because I went back to fetch my wallet or buy milk, I narrowly missed a life-changing event and wonder how many times I have been an important part in someone else's puzzle. How many times has God put me in a place at a certain time so that my kids ran in front of them, which delayed them a little and prevented something from happening in their life...

In today's episode, I discuss how easily we glorify being busy and the impact that social media has on us through defining success stories as ones that require juggling multiple jobs, side-hustles and all while effortlessly managing a family and keeping up with a regular exercise regime. I open up about my own season of being too busy and how it took me months to learn how to rest - rest... what does the Bible say about rest? I break down several verses that discuss rest and what God desires for us!
